Doggo at The Butterfly Club

Rooted in self-reflection, catharsis and silliness, Doggo is Alice Toveys most ambitious work to date, coming to Melbourne International Comedy Festival on 2 11 April at the Butterfly Club.Alice asks: Am I the kind of person that my dog thinks I am? She has been performing for over eight years and has toured award-winning shows. Her inaugural show Malice earned her an Adelaide Fringe Award for Best Emerging Artist at the weekly awards. Alices 2019 show Garbage Monster was her most critically acclaimed season to date, receiving multiple five-star reviews and an extended season in her home town of Melbourne.In Doggo, audiences can expect an exploration of joy, an emotion that her beagle named Arj Barker gives her.
