Artistic Director for EDC Natalie Weir believes where the heart is has been highly regarded nationwide for its ability to connect with audiences through raw, emotional, storytelling.
"The choreography and original score allow the dancers to tap into emotions that we all, at one point or another, have had to face in our lives. Emotions such as love, loss, hurt and grief culminate to create a very evocative piece of dance theatre that people can relate to" said Weir.
The exquisite choreography, emotionally resonant live music, stunning design and strong storytelling are just a few of the elements that make where the heart is a must see in 2012.
