On Friday, October 6, Wordless Music returns to Melbourne as part of the 2017 Melbourne Festival, with the world premiere of Terrence Malick's VOYAGE OF TIME: the epic documentary project three decades in the making that sees Malick turning attention to the grandest of stories. From the collision of galaxies and explosions of stars to the churning primordial soup from which springs life, all the way to the birth of humanity and our rapid proliferation around the globe, VOYAGE OF TIME is a dizzying look across the ages that could only be made by Malick.
With narration by
Cate Blanchett, and music by Bach, Haydn, Beethoven, Wagner, Mahler, and Poulenc, performed by over 100 members of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, along with our friends Tyondai Braxton and Ricardo Romaneiro on electronics,
VOYAGE OF TIME will be an experience in pure awe. A very small number of tickets are still available on the Melbourne Festival web site.
Just announced: GAS (Wolfgang Voight) live in December
