By 2050 will there be more plastic in the ocean than fish? Not if local superheroes have anything to say about it. wit incorporated theatre company brings the city a Month of Super Clean Up Action.
Starting on Saturday 24 June and continuing through July, there are events every week for the whole family to be involved with. On Saturday 24 June, everyone is invited to dress in their best superhero outfit and join characters from "A Hero's Guide to Saving the Planet" as they use their trash-picker-upping superpowers to clean up the streets of Footscray. "We're inviting families to get their own capes on, come along and join us, as we pick up and sort out the litter on our streets," says wit incorporated Artistic Director Belinda Campbell. "The pick up will start outside Footscray Station on Irving St, and conclude at Saigon Welcome Arch on Leeds St."Month of Super Clean Up Action events
