Next week during the school holidays, Varietyville Productions will present one of Australia's finest and funniest physical comedians Dandyman (Daniel Oldaker) and his circus comedy family show: For the Love of it at Federation Square.
In response to the recent personal incident while performing an outdoor pop up show at Federation Square, Dandyman is supporting the vision of the Alannah and Madeline Foundation who advocate for the safety and wellbeing of children in Australia.
"For the Love of it is an unexpected experience filled with moments of fun and spontaneity that will fill everyone's hearts. It's all for the love it and it's for everyone: young and old," said Oldaker.
"The Alannah and Madeline Foundation champion everything I believe in and, for this season of For the Love of it, I will donate 50% of ticket sales to support the foundation," announced Oldaker.
Performed in the round and with the audience creating a huge heart-shape, For the Love of it will feature ridiculously raucous routines, fantastically funny feats of stupidity whilst going on fun filled journey of the absurd.
Dandyman will create circus-inspired magical moments of mayhem, complete with goofy games, fun competitions, prizes, funny facts and very funny faces.
A five star award-winning physical comedian who draws on 23 years of performance experience in over 30 countries, Dandyman is trained with Phillippe Gaulier (Sascha Baron Cohens mentor), sought after by Cirque du Soleil and Circus Oz and performed at many of the most highly regarded festivals and venues around the globe.
