The Cardigans. Radiohead. Everclear. Garbage. Desree's one good song. Butthole Surfers. The kid with that voice. Other songs you somehow knew all the words to. It's been 20 years since Baz Luhrmann turned the greatest love story ever told into the greatest soundtrack ever sold. So Tom Dickins & Co are throwing a party and you're invited.
Tom Dickins is no stranger to the Melbourne Fringe. Over the past decade he has presented, produced, performed, won awards and most recently, worked on the jam-packed programs at The Butterfly Club and Belleville. This year, his cumulative experience and penchant for sleepless festival nights are coming together as he presents his biggest work yet: a star-studded show comprising the soundtrack to Baz Luhmann's Romeo & Juliet.
For two nights only, headlining at The Lithuanian Club, Dickins will be joined by a killer selection of musicians and performers to bring together a party unlike any other. The full lineup of guests will be announced in the lead up to the festival. With only two performances, booking ahead is a very good idea.
