The Cheese Girls are taking you on a journey into the small town of Twin Peaks - but this is no ordinary small town. Murder, dark arts, seduction... but never fear, Agent Charlie D. Barkle will protect you are he takes you on a tour of the twisted cast. You might find Tiki Amazon dead... wrapped in plastic... or maybe she'll offer you nice slice of Cherry Pie. Ginger Snapz may have lost her memory (and her eye) but she's kept her sexy moves. Loli Box's doppelganger will haunt your dreams and the impetuous Taffy reveal her darker side. With guest performers Ferri Maya as the seductive madam, Adam as a father possessed and Bottom's Up's very own Elle Diablo will walk with fire. Watch out for the delightful girls of One Eyed Jacks- Rosa Fox, Withak and Emily Maehem. And strap yourself in for a night of Damn Fine Burlesque.
This is an all star cast, with Charlie D. Barkle, winner of Mr Boyesque Australia (2014) leading the show. Ferri Maya, winner of Burlesque Idol London (2011) and creator of Burlyrock, will tempt you with her dark seductive moves. Boylesque artist Adam (formerly Dear Bobby), winner of Black Cherry's "Burlesque Knock-out" competition, shows his diversity in performing arts. And world famous sideshow queen Elle Diablo, co-owner of Bottoms Up Dance in Brunswick, will heat up the audience with a fire performance not to be missed.
While they have danced together for years, The Cheese Girls were formed in 2014, appearing in Melbourne Fringe Festival, Perth Fringe Festival and The Australian Burlesque Festival, in addition to producing their own variety and trivia shows around Melbourne. They consist of 50% science, 50% business and are 100% babes. Red hot fire-cracker Tiki Amazon, co-founder of the award winning all female circus Chest of Wonders, also holds a PhD in biomedicine and genetics. The ever-graceful Taffy, a former acrobat, is also a neuroscientist, with a Masters in Research and just beginning her PhD. Bodacious Loli Box has been dancing since she could walk and teaches burlesque at Melbourne's fiercest school of dance- Bottoms Up Pole and Burlesque in Brunswick. Saucy Ginger Snapz, the perfect combination of sexy and sweet, mastered both the art of tap dance and Japanese rope bondage, and also owns her own business. Together they are a ferocious combination of brains, beauty, and burlesque, with a unique style of comedy that will bring you to your knees.
