The Butterfly Club Re-Opens for 2010

After a brief rest, The Butterfly Club has re-opened for 2010 with an exciting year planned.

This February, The Butterfly Club will serve as one of the main hubs for THE MIDSUMMA FESTIVAL, presenting 10 shows of all persuasions. The Butterfly Club will also feature the wit and philosophy of Rachel Berger on Thursday February 4th to Saturday February 6th.

Later in the month, The Butterfly Club is hosting two sneak peak shows that will appear in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in March and April in conjunction with the St. Kilda Laughs Festival.

On Friday February 12 and Saturday February 13th The Butterfly Club will host the 2009 Melbourne Fringe ‘Best Newcomer' and ‘Best Cabaret' award winner, Tommy Bradson, in "When the Sex is Gone".The Butterfly Club will also host rapidly rising star Karin Muiznieks' new show "First Against the Wall" from Thursday February 11th to Saturday February 13th. The Butterfly Club will also be hosting two Valentine's Day special shows on Sunday February 14th.

To close out the month, WRONGTOWN, the acclaimed runner-up winner of 2009 Short+Sweet Cabaret, will run from Thursday February 18th to Saturday February 12th. Finally, Sally Bourne and Susan-Ann Walker return to The Butterfly Club from Thursday February 25th to Sunday February 28th.
