London UK Records will present the Australian premiere of The Saints of British Rock at the 2013 Adelaide Fringe Festival.
The Saints of British Rock will perform at 8:00 pm, March 4-15, The Big Slapple Apollo Theatre, Adelaide Convention Centre, www.thebigslapple.com.au.
In what Rolling Stonehenge calls the most 'unheard of' musical adventure of 2012 The Saints of British Rock sees The Greatest Rock n' Roll Band in The World, [citation needed] those Übermensch '60s megastars Rocco Hercules Somershire and Jib Frombroffitts sharing details of their multi-dimensional, 21st century hooligan-rock revival with acclaimed biographer and television presenter, Sir James Douglas in a 75 minute multimedia musical theatre mock-rockumentary.
Through a reverse chronology style narrative, the show tells the story of how Rocco's and Jib's rock & roll adventures transcend not only the limits of popular culture, but time and space as well. Ten original songs play throughout a live 'interview'.
Lampooning British entitlement, British history and the wastrel life of rock & roll icons and at the same time saying some pretty interesting things about the nature of reality The Saints not only celebrate the British Rock scene of the 1960s and 1970s, they also revel in the mysteries of ancient culture that surround several significant stone structures throughout the British Isles - all via the use of some brilliant rock & roll music.
The Saints recently embarked on a quest to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Stonehenge, where they performed their famous Arthurian-themed musical histories and engaged in the time-honoured tradition of ritual sword-play.
The Saints of British Rock believe that which has been told to you by somebody else must be taken as truth. Create the future today so that we may enjoy the past tomorrow. And have a brilliant, brilliant time on the way.

Rollicking Time Rockers! This team has the right stuff! 4.5 stars - Edmonton Sun
The Saints are currently in Egypt, filming their own mockumentary with a serious (albeit metaphysically-slanted) documentary filmmaker (Dr. Carmen Boulter, The Pyramid Code: (topdocumentaryfilms.com/pyramid-code/) for purely satirical reasons (according to the Saints "there is nothing more British than Egyptian fings").
The Saints of British Rock was developed last year for a select Canadian Fringe tour (Winnipeg, Edmonton, and Vancouver) as a means of introducing more traditional theatre audiences of all ages to a satirical rock band that has gained some serious notoriety in Victoria, British Columbia over the past couple of years.
They recently released two singles on iTunes as well as pressing three full-length albums including their first, which was recorded at Abbey Road Studios.
