Newly single, a woman known only as "The Rambling Feminist," returns to Australia seeking a new path through life and the reformation of her broken heart. Inside the tent she calls home, she riffles through time, space, and her dirty backpack to find and examine the fractured pieces of her life and the bloody bones of war she's carried home from an odyssey around the globe.
As she journeys through memory and across borders that build nations and define bodies, she looks through the kaleidoscope of history seeking to understand the patterns that form who we are, how we got here and how we try and fail to love.
The Rambling Feminist is a one woman show written, directed and performed by newcomer Shona Anderson. Pulling together threads of monologue, poetry, dance and song, The Rambling Feminist weaves a cosmic theatrical fabric that is at turns hopeful, sarcastic, complicated, tragic and bright with childlike wonder. Ramble with her. Book tickets now.
