The Garden of Unearthly Delights returns for 2017, with a huge program of over 100 shows across 13 venues, covering live music, circus, visual art, comedy, family, magic, variety and so much more.

The Garden of Unearthly Delights is Australia's most unique and engaging outdoor performing arts precinct. This incredible event, with its warm and inviting vintage carnival feel, is admired across the globe and people all over the world have tried to replicate it but The Garden's heart remains where it all began, here in South Australia. More than 750,000 people visit The Garden every season and its popularity continues to grow every year.

The Garden team travel the world year-round to find the very best award-winning shows and the most inventive and exciting new works to present to our audience. Some of the many highlights of our 2017 program include:

The massive hit production from the acclaimed creative minds behind Madonna's recent Rebel Heart tour and festival sensations LIMBO, Fear & Delight, and Cantina: Blanc de Blanc.

A festival favourite returns but in a very new form: LIMBO Unhinged will open the door and delve deeper into the dark world of the award winning show with your favourite characters alongside a host of new surprises.

As always, The Garden hosts some of the most fun shows to get anybody in the party spirit: 'One of London's best nights out' [Sunday Mirror] returns to rock The Garden for a second year - Massaoke and Jagged Little Singalong lets you belt out all the Alanis Morrisette you never thought you needed, and why do grown ups get all the fun? Kid / Dub is the new family party for all the people who loved Hot Dub Time Machine and now want to let their kids experience the fun.

Every year the family program gets bigger and bolder and 2017 is no exception. So many favourites return including the Amazing Drumming Monkeys, Children are Stinky, Peter Combe and Boomstars & Supercats. Some new faces will excite and delight including Super Amazing Giant Girl in her acclaimed interactive theatre show about fitting in and a whole visual arts installation that been added to engage the little ones called Foals.

Protégée of the illustrious Penn & Teller, physicist turned magician Kevin Quantum makes his Adelaide debut with his show 'Illuminations', while Indigenous dance superstars and YouTube sensations Djuki Mala are back with their unique, infectious, high-energy and always exuberant fusion of traditional Yolngu and contemporary pop culture, dance and storytelling.

Like Pitch Perfect with Cahoonas, favourite six-man a cappella group The Magnets are back with a hot new line-up of vocal talent and an audacious aca-adventure through music, and direct from sold out shows in London's West End, the USA and around Australia, the hilarious Graeme of Thrones sees avid 'Thrones' fan Graeme try to recreate his favourite fantasy saga on stage.

This year The Garden presents an incredible music lineup featuring ARIA Award winning Adelaide darling Tasha Coates (The Audreys), Clairy Brown, Vika and Linda, Jo Lawry, Kate Ceberano, Germein Sisters, Ross Wilson, Renee Geyer, The Black Sorrows, Áine Tyrrell, Ash Grunwald, Ella Hooper, Emma Pask, Katie Noonan & Karin Schaupp, Leo Sayer, Manu Delago, Mercan Dede, The McClymonts and the hit show Baby Wants Candy where a full cast and band perform a completely crowd-sourced and improvised musical every night.

Some of the world's most hilarious comedy superstars are featured on the huge lineup including: Abandoman, Adrienne Truscott, Best of the Edinburgh Fest, Butt Kapinski, CAl Wilson, Dave Hughes, DRAGAPELLA! Starring The Kinsey Sicks, Eddie Ifft, Hannah Gadsby, Joel Creasey, Judith Lucy & Denise Scott, Justin Hamilton, Lawrence Mooney, Lehmo, Luke McGregor, Merrick Watt, Paul Foot, Puppetry of the Penis, Rove McManus, Sam Simmons, Sammy J, Simon Taylor, Tom Ballard, Tom Gleeson, Tommy Little and Wil Anderson.
