Hello broadway and nowyesnow will present THE CITY by Martin Crimp and directed by Geordie Brookman from April 12 to 28 with an opening night on Friday the 13th. The Bakehouse Theatre is located at 255 Angas Street, Adelaide.

THE CITY is a darkly funny, mischievous look at our suburban anxieties. Chris is scared that he's going to lose his job. His wife Clair, a translator, has met a writer in a train station who has lost his child. Their neighbour Jenny, a nurse on night shift, arrives to complain about the noise. Dislocated from each other all three struggle to discover where truth ends and fiction begins.

Incoming Artistic Director of State Theatre, Geordie Brookman directs The City for the independent company nowyesnow. The show will feature Featuring Matilda Bailey, Lizzy Falkland, Chris Pitman and Anna Steen, Set Design by: Victoria Lamb, Lighting by: Ben Flett, Sound design and composition: Anrew Howard and Dramaturg: Nicki Bloom.

All shows at 8pm. Tickets are available from www.bakehousetheatre.com or CASH at the door on the night.
