On Wednesday, June 2 at 10:30am the Tap Dogs will perform with Aussie star Adam Garcia. The event will be hosted by Olivier Award-winning choreography Dein Perry. The performance will take place at Australia Hall (150-152 Elizabeth Street, Sydney).

TAP DOGS are currently taking the world by storm with their unprecedented tap show that combines the strength and power of workmen with the precision and talent of tap dancing.

The show that started with six guys from Newcastle will return to Sydney for an exclusive season at the Capitol Theatre Opening on 3 January 2011.

TAP DOGS are currently in Sydney rehearsing for three weeks before they head to London's West End. The Media are invited into the Rehearsal room for a sneak peak on WEDNESDAY 2 JUNE at 10.30am at Australia Hall, to meet Dein Perry, and cast, and watch the TAP DOGS perform.

The Australian dance sensation TAP DOGS became an instant hit of the Sydney Festival where it had its world premiere in January 1995. The show then caused a sensation at the Edinburgh Festival later that year. TAP DOGS went on the play to packed houses at Sadler's Wells in London; return tours of Australia; a West End engagement, for which Dein won a second consecutive Olivier Award in 1996 for his choreography; and an off Broadway, New York season in 1997. So far the company has won 11 International Awards including a Pegasus Award at the Spoleto Festival in Italy and an Obie in New York. They returned home in 2000 to take part in the opening ceremony of the Sydney Olympics.

The TAP DOGS story has gone on to be immortalised in the movie BOOTMEN, directed by Dein Perry and inspired by his TAP DOGS experiences.
