Sydney Theatre Company Presents ACTOR ON A BOX, September 21

Actor on a Box is a series of school holiday shows designed to introduce the magic of theatre to the youngest audiences aged 3 and up. Combining one actor, classic storytelling and physical theatre these fun, intimate and interactive performances will be staged at the Richard Wherrett Studio, Sydney Theatre, from 21 September to 30 September, after it was a hit with little and big people when it was first presented in 2010.

From the pen of one of our favourite bush poets, Henry Lawson, The Loaded Dog is an explosive tale about a trio of miners and their dog. When their overgrown pup Tommy steals a stick of dynamite and runs it through a fire, the wick is lit for mayhem and chaos.

Tickets $12 (transaction fees apply). This show is best for children aged 3 and up accompanied by an adult.
