SHORT+SWEET Theatre Festival Runs Now thru Aug 19

SHORT+SWEET Theatre Festival 2012, running from today, 1 – 19 August is back and bigger than ever. In its fourth successful year in Queensland, SHORT+SWEET Theatre Festival Brisbane+Gold Coast will host 30 writers, 20 directors, 12 independent theatre companies and 100 actors at The Loft (QUT Creative Industries) in Brisbane and the Gold Coast Arts Centre.

Audiences are guaranteed 10 plays a night and no play will last more than 10 minutes; with attention spans shrinking this is great news-everyone loves a short night at the theatre. Audiences also get the chance to be part of the judging process.
