Ricky Martin Announces Australian Tour; Promises All-New Music

Ricky Martin announced that his One World Tour will travel through Australian arenas in 2015. The singer, currently serving as a coach on "The Voice Australia," will launch the tour in north Queensland on April 25th.

"I am so excited to bring my new One World Tour back to Australia next year and see all of my loving and loyal Aussie fans once more," Martin said in a statement. He also promised that the shows will feature never-before heard music. "I am looking forward to playing some new material that I have been working on this year, some of my classics and perhaps a few surprises."

The upcoming tour of Australia is presented by Nine Live and Sony Music Entertainment. The general tickets will go on sale beginning July 23, and Visa cardholders can access presale tickets from this Friday (July 18) at www.visaentertainment.com.au.

Ricky Martin's 2015 One World Tour Australia dates are as follows:

April 25 - 1300 Smiles Stadium, Townsville
April 28 - Brisbane Entertainment Centre
April 30 - Allphones Arena, Sydney
May 2 - Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne
May 5 - Adelaide Entertainment Centre
May 8 - Perth Arena

Martin recently appeared on the Broadway stage in the role of 'Che' in the 2012 revival of EVITA. A Grammy-winning, international pop icon, Martin has sold more than 60 million albums and performed to sold-out stadium and arena audiences throughout the world.

Martin previously starred on Broadway as Marius in LES MISERABLES in 1996. Recently, Martin's critically praised autobiography "ME" debuted as a New York Times Bestseller, his latest album "Musica+Alma+Sexo" posted the strongest chart debut for a Spanish language album in 15 years. Martin also guest-starred as Spanish teacher David Martinez on the hit TV series GLEE.
