A heartfelt slice of sex in our very own city Winner of the 2008-09 Queensland Premier's Drama Award, Richard Jordan's comedy 25 Down is a fresh, fast and funny look into the lives of four Brisbanites taking on sex, relationships, Gen Y quarter-life crises and thegeneration gap.

Premier and Minister for the Arts Anna Bligh says "26-year-old Richard is astrong new voice for Gen Y theatre in Brisbane, and has had productions in London at the Dogstar and Oval Theatres. He is the youngest winner of thisvaluable award which encourages new writing talent in Queensland".

James is 25, an aspiring artist and utterly lost. His best friend Emma is stuckin a dead-end job, might be pregnant, and thinks she's in love with James. The trouble is James is gay. Simon and Gary are also looking to James for love. But James reckons Simon is just a kid and Gary's old enough to be his father.

Says director Jon Halpin "This is a great new Brisbane comedy - Richard's writing is quick witted and studded with characters you may already know -or be. 25 Down explores truth, lies and stereotypes in Brisbane's gay and straight communities and the roles people are willing to play in order to beloved."
