Raw Dance Company to Make Melbourne Debut at Fairfax Studio, Sept 11-14

A frenzy of tap dance, hip-hop and percusion, Raw Dance Company's Bang! Crash! Tap! will make its Melbourne debut with a quick, explosive season at Arts Centre Melbourne. The Company will perform on September 11 - 13 at 7:30 PM, and the 14th at 2:00 PM and 7:30 PM. You can find more information, including ticket prices, here.

Renowned for combining traditional tap dance with contemporary styles, such as hip hop, Raw Dance Company exudes an ironically Australian sense of humour with tap numbers featuring dancers wearing Aussie thongs, swimming flippers and even incorporating basketballs (and the odd footy) into routines.

The soundtrack to the high-energy performance will be provided by champion beatboxer Jonny Grant (aka Dr Rhythm). In 2008 Dr Rhythm caused a sensation on Channel 7's Australia's Got Talent and has subsequently taken out the UK Beatboxing Championships and hosted ABC3's What Do You Know?
