New MTC and Qatar Airways Partnership Takes Flight

Melbourne Theatre Company is delighted to welcome Qatar Airways as a new Major Partner. Commencing in 2015, the partnership reflectsboth companies' commitment to offering world-class experiences, premium service, and promoting Melbourne as a world-class arts and travel destination.

This three-year partnership also sees the launch of the Qatar Airways MTC Lounge, a brand new facility at Southbank Theatre available exclusively to MTC Members and VIPs.

The Qatar Airways MTC Lounge offers guests an exclusive place to enjoy complimentary drinks and snacks pre-show and during interval (where applicable) for all mainstage productions at Southbank Theatre, The Sumner. MTC has also partnered with Artbank to display a changing collection of contemporary Australian art in the lounge, with the first exhibition curated by Artistic Director Brett Sheehy AO which includes work from artists such as Julie Dowling, Veron Ah Kee, Victoria Reichelt and Darren Siwes.
