Melbourne's Sunday Market Becomes Weekend Festive Market

Arts Centre Melbourne's Sunday Market will be open all weekend in the lead-up to Christmas. It will now also open on Saturday 8, 15 and 22 December and will showcase new makers as well as 80 original stallholders and their best locally-made festive wares for the gift-giving season.

The Weekend Festive Market will feature the finest artisans from across the state, with a festive twist and holiday cheer added to their usual wares, which makes it the perfect place for Christmas shopping. There will be a variety of unique, handmade goods ranging from arts and crafts to freshly made delicacies.

Arts Centre Melbourne's Forecourt and St Kilda Road lawn will become a Holiday Walk, with Christmas carols playing throughout the day.

Just a short walk over the bridge from Flinders Street Station, Arts Centre Melbourne Weekend Festive Market has the relaxed feel of a regional craft market against the backdrop of Melbourne's arts precinct.

Market visitors also have the convenience of under-cover parking located under Arts Centre Melbourne's Theatres Building.

The Weekend Festive Market will not be open Saturday 29 December and Sunday 30 December

In the New Year, the Sunday Market will return to normal trading, every Sunday 10am to 4pm.
