Melbourne Fringe comes to The Butterfly Club this month and next. Highlights include:

- Silver Sircus - To The Place That is Called Home: Acclaimed cabaret-noir experimentalists, Silver Sircus. Making a name for themselves in their hometown of Brisbane, combine the themes of loss, grief, death and despair with beauty, hope, wry comedy and high drama to create a compelling and spellbinding performance style. - Thursday 22nd to Sunday 25th Sept at 7pm (6pm Sun) $22 Full/ $19 Conc

- Kate McLennan is Homeward Bound - Kate McLennan is back with a very funny show about family, falling apart at the seams and learning to put one foot in front of the other. - Thursday 22nd to Sunday 25th Sept at 9pm (8pm Sun) $22 Full/ $19 Conc

- The Porcelain Punch Travelling Medicine Show - Audiences are enchanted by these characters and their unique approach to the ridiculous. Actors play in the realms of clown, satire and new circus. It's freak, magic, and not quite right, but guaranteed to delight and excite. Tuesday 27th Sept to Sunday 2nd Oct: 9pm Thurs/Fri/Sat, 8pm Tues/Weds/ Sun. $27 Full/$24 Conc

- MANDADDY - Songs of Love and Love- Yon (Tripod) is joined by musicians Naomune Anzai (Toys of Noise) and SJ (Princess One Point Five)
