Imagine finding a magic lamp with a genie in it! What would you wish for?
Princess Sheherazade knows all about the power of an enchanting story as she flies in on her magic carpet to spin tales to a Very Grumpy Sultan. The cheeky hero of her most famous story is Aladdin, who discovers a cave of wonders and has many exciting adventures after he is tricked by an evil magician into searching for a magic lamp. Aladdin is then befriended by the powerful genie of the lamp, who helps him defeat the magician and win the love the beautiful princess Badr al Budur.
This play with original music by Jenny Jackson and Catherine Martin is brought to life for children to participate. Afterwards the children are invited to meet the cast and have a closer look at the magical set and costumes.
