Welcome to the sleepy, seaside town of Spinnaker Bay. Under the watchful eye of the Spinnaker Bay lighthouse, join us as we journey into the lives of those who inhabit this quaint Australian town. Laugh at the happy times. Cry at the sad times. Thrill at the thrilling times. And drama at the dramatic times!

Melbourne's first live, improvised soap opera, Spinnaker Bay began life in 2004. From this show, such legends were born as Cuban Attorney at Law Rory Calruze, the charming and occasionally homicidal Spinster Spinnaker, the mysterious yet strangely trustworthy Duncan The Lighthouse Keeper, and local postman Simon Post, who died tragically in a fiery car accident... or did he?

For lovers of live comedy, Home & Away, Twin Peaks, and The Bold And The Beautiful, come every show to see the return of your favourite characters and follow storylines as they weave through their complex lives.

A group of young, hot headed improvisers, Spinnaker Bay Baptist Ladies Netball Team formed way back in 2004. Now, the team is more level-headed and brings with it a wealth of experience, having spent the last decade traveling the globe, performing and teaching improvised acting and comedy. Comprised of Tim Redmond, Anna Renzenbrink, Amy Moule and Mark Gambino, the group are proud to bring Spinnaker Bay back to Melbourne audiences.

Each member of the group is themselves a member of various Melbourne improvised theatre and comedy companies, such as Impro Melbourne, The Big HOO-HAA! Melbourne and Secret Impro Theatre.

Gathering some of Melbourne's most formidable improvisers and comedians, Spinnaker Bay aims to provide Melbourne with a regular dose of world-class entertainment.

The show runs Wednesdays Monthly - 25 September, 23 October, 27 November, 8.30pm-10pm, at Bella Union, Level 1, Trades Hall, Lygon St (Cnr Victoria St), Carlton South. Tickets: $10 All. Bookings: www.bellaunion.com.au.
