Frontier Touring and MG Live have added a second Melbourne and second Brisbane show to Jimmy Barnes' now 8-date DEFIANT TOUR for June 2025. Barnes' first Melbourne and Brisbane shows plus Sydney and Canberra are now sold out, with Adelaide and Perth selling fast. 

The Frontier Member presale for the two new shows commences Wednesday 19 March 2pm local time before the general on sale Thursday 20 March 3pm local time.  Tickets and tour info here. Australian singer-songwriter Taylor Sheridan will join Jimmy Barnes as special guest on the DEFIANT TOUR. 

Touring in celebration of his 21st studio album DEFIANT (out Fri 6 June via Mushroom Music, pre order here), the new release features the double single ‘New Day’ (starring Troy Cassar-Daley) and ‘Beyond the River Bend’. The nod to the central role of family life in ‘New Day’ can also be found in ‘Beyond the River Bend’ - inspired by the Barnes’ family home in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales where ‘hope keeps flowing like water’.  It’s a thread which weaves through this music as it does through Jimmy’s life. 

Having notched up an unprecedented 21 #1’s on the Australian album charts (15 as a solo artist and 6 with Cold Chisel), the DEFIANT TOUR sees Jimmy hitting the road with his 9-piece band as he brings his DEFIANT album to life.
