The Broadway production of the international hit musical Jersey Boys now offers ShowTrans, a state-of-the-art customer service that provides multi-lingual "play-by-play" commentary of a theatrical production for the non-English speaking audience. ShowTrans gives the patrons continual plot and dialogue information that enables them to follow the action, intention, humor, and emotion of the show. Commentary for Jersey Boys is available in Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish and German.

Written by Marshall Brickman & Rick Elice, with music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe, directed by two-time Tony® Award-winner Des McAnuff and choreographed by Sergio Trujillo, Jersey Boys began preview performances on Tuesday, October 4, 2005 and officially opened on Sunday, November 6, 2005 at Broadway's August Wilson Theatre (245 West 52nd Street, between Broadway and 8th Avenue, formerly the Virginia Theatre).

Jersey Boys is the winner of the 2006 Tony® Award for Best Musical and the 2006 Grammy Award for Best Musical Recording.

Jersey Boys is the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons: Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi. This is the story of how a group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks became one of the biggest American pop music sensations of all time. They wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records worldwide - all before they were thirty.

Jersey Boys is produced on Broadway by Dodger Theatricals, Joseph J. Grano, Tamara and Kevin Kinsella, Pelican Group, in association with Latitude Link and Rick Steiner/ Osher/ Staton/ Bell/ Mayerson Group.

Since opening to critical acclaim, Jersey Boys continues to break box office records at the August Wilson Theatre three years later. The Jersey Boys North American Tour opened to rave reviews in San Francisco on December 1, 2006 and played a 44-week, record-breaking run. The show is currently playing in New York, Chicago, Las Vegas, London (where it just received an Evening Standard Award nomination for Best Musical), Toronto, in cities across the U.S. on a National Tour, and will open in Melbourne, Australia in 2009.

The Original Broadway Cast Recording of Jersey Boys, produced by Bob Gaudio, received the 2006 Grammy Award® for Best Musical Show Album and has been certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Jersey Boys: The Story of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons (Broadway Books) is the official handbook to the smash Broadway hit.
