DEEP SOULFUL SWEATS Set for Arts Centre Melbourne's Lawn Tomorrow

Melburnians are set to exorcise their minds while exercising their bodies with Deep Soulful Sweats - an ingenious mix of yoga, aerobics and dance music. Media are invited to capture an en masse demonstration by 15+ hot young yogis on Arts Centre Melbourne's Lawn (between the Theatres Building and Hamer Hall) at 12:15pm tomorrow Wednesday 23 April, 2014.

Ahead of the highly anticipated yogic discotheque event at Northcote Town Hall on Thursday 24 April, Melburnians will get a sneak peek of what's in store at this yoga-come-dance party. Featuring yogis clad in outrageous, colourful costumes (see left) leading crowd-wide chants, yoga routines and dance moves, Deep Soulful Sweats PEAKS OF PHANTASM has been billed as "A little bit yoga, a little bit Jane Fonda, a little bit interpretive dance, a little bit deep house".

A city-wide, month-long celebration of cutting-edge arts and culture from around Australia and the globe, in 2014 Next Wave celebrates its 30th anniversary with a tightly curated selection of the most ambitious, risky and surprising new art, including performance, dance, visual art, sound art - and ideas impossible to categorise.

Next Wave Festival 2014 is on now until Sunday 11 May.
