Cougar Morrison is one of the freshest faces in Australian cabaret. After a knockout season at the Perth FringeWorld, he is set to make his Melbourne debut at The Butterfly Club this September. With his signature blend of classic cabaret songs and modern stories of sexuality, you'll agree that Cougar Morrison is a name destined for the big lights.

Questioning assumptions of beauty, love, gender and modernity, Rawwr is a surprisingly uplifting cabaret. Flanked by two back up dancers, it moves from the innately personal to the hilarious, to the universal.

Embarking on an hour-long slow striptease for his audience, layer by layer, we see right into the heart of an androgynous, sometimes heartbroken genius dealing with sexuality and modern life through a classic lens. Somewhere Over The Rainbow is effortlessly melded and reinvented into a Christina Aguilera classic. Piaf exchanges loving vows with Wham.

Best described as the androgynous love-child of Marlene Dietrich and David Bowie, Cougar Morrison is the alter-ego of renowned cabaret artist, Clint Strindberg, who has performed over all over the world, most recently in Paris and NYC.
