The Australian Production of Ian Fleming's Chitty Chitty Bang Bang will celebrate it's 150th performance on Sunday April 7 and both Sydney and Melbourne seasons have gone off with a Bang..bang.
The spectacular production, acclaimed by audiences and critics alike, has been seen by over 200,000 people enjoying box office revenue in excess of $20 million.
Chitty remains the longest running musical ever to play at the London Palladium, and holds the Guinness Book of World Records as the most expensive stage prop in British theatre history.
The Melbourne season, at Her Majesty's Theatre, is now playing it's final shows before Chitty flies to Adelaide on Sunday 14 April.
