Modern love, IKEA, and dating apps collide in Bed Reckoning, the new musical comedy from Darwent & Gray.
The hilarious new musical comedy from rising Melbourne writing duo Caleb Darwent and Nicholas Gray (2016's The Adulteresses, 2015's Sophisticated Lady) explores modern relationships in the age of torso-based dating apps and committed polygamy, where there are no instructions, parts often don't seem to fit together, and meatballs sometimes contain horse.
'Bed Reckoning' reunites the stars of 2016 Melbourne Fringe sold-out hit The Adulteresses (**** The Age), Jack Beeby (Six Inches Uncut) and Bianca Bruce (StageART's In the Heights), and introduces classically-trained baritone Andre Sasalu and newcomer Paul Jones. Featuring all-original songs, this campy yet penetrating look at modern gay life will appear on the intimate upstairs stage of iconic Melbourne institution, The Butterfly Club, opening on the 12th of September and running for six consecutive nights.
