The Bollywood Improv Show is a spectacular improvised Bollywood-style rom-com that seamlessly combines the excitement and exuberance of Bollywood movies with the spontaneity of improv comedy! Each performance is a unique and unscripted journey through the world of Bollywood cinema!
The Bollywood Improv Show is inspired by movies like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, complete with improvised dance numbers and familiar Bollywood music.
Each night our talented improvisors will embody a completely new wide range of characters. From star-crossed lovers to eccentric villains to quirky sidekicks, they’ll be paying homage to classic Bollywood themes while also exploring new and unexpected twists.
The cast of The Bollywood Improv Show is lead by director Sid Desai, a veteran Hideout improviser and director!
“Everyone’s been excited about a show that shows off Indian culture,” says Sid. “That doesn’t happen very often on the improv stage, so both South Asians and non-South Asians have been happy to hear about this show!”
Whether you’re a Bollywood aficionado or a newcomer to the genre, The BollywoodImprov Show promises an unforgettable experience that celebrates the iconic elements of Bollywood cinema.
With its vibrant storytelling, audience engagement, and the joy of improv comedy, The Bollywood Improv Show will leave you smiling, dancing, and thoroughly immersed in the world of Bollywood.
