Austin-based nonprofit record label Spaceflight Records is celebrating their 5-year anniversary with a special evening of music and holiday happenings on Friday, Dec. 6 at RADIO / EAST (located at 3504 Montopolis Dr, Austin, TX 78744) featuring music by The Black Angels, Anastasia Hera, Nolan Potter’s Nightmare Band and DJ Zapot. Over the course of the past 5 years, Spaceflight Records has become a pillar of Austin’s music community, prioritizing supporting their artists (including 56 acts and over 300 musicians) and ensuring their success through release management, public relations, radio promotion, retail marketing and legal counsel. Locally, they’ve been honored as the Best Record Label at the 2022 Austin Music Awards, and internationally, they’ve made a significant impact with their radio presence and vinyl distribution, securing airplay on more than 200 radio stations worldwide and placing Spaceflight records on shelves across the globe, including in Japan, Europe and Australia.
