Don’t miss the triumphant return of Nakia’s Annual Birthday Bash after a 5-year hiatus on Friday, February 21st at 8 p.m. at The Saxon Pub. Backed by his electrifying new band, Nakia & The Never Not Now, the soulful Austin icon will perform fan favorites spanning his 20+ year career, along with songs from his upcoming 80s synth-rock-inspired album, Signal. 

Known for his commanding voice and vibrant presence, Nakia has shared stages with legends like Alejandro Escovedo, Sharon Jones, Willie Nelson, and The Muppets, and earned the title of "Local Legend" from Matthew McConaughey for his tireless advocacy for Austin’s music community. To that end, Nakia will be donating a portion of the proceeds from the show to local music non-profits, Austin Texas Musicians and the SIMS Foundation. With some soon to be announced very special guests joining him on stage, this unforgettable night of music at the iconic Saxon Pub is not to be missed! There will be a limited number of autographed event posters designed by Taylor Rushing at the merch table.
