Multi-talented rapper, songwriter, and self-taught producer and Official SXSW 2025 Artist Wes Denzel announces he’s playing KUTX’s annual SXSBreaks: The Breaks’ Official SXSW Showcase on Wednesday, March 12 at 7:30 p.m. at Lefty’s Brick Bar, located at 1813 C E 6th St, Austin, TX 78702. Denzel has also just announced the upcoming release of his brand new EP, “Sorry About Last Night,” slated to drop Friday, April 4. With this new EP, Denzel shows his ability to display vulnerability through his lyrics and storytelling while still maintaining a lively tempo and beat. The EP embodies all things Wes Denzel, a distinctive voice dripping with charisma, telling stories about human experience and the love and loss we experience. With his forthcoming release, Denzel represents a unique, fresh voice in the Texas rap and hip-hop scene set to leave an indelible footprint.
