San Antonio-based psychonauts Garrett T. Capps & NASA Country announce the upcoming release of their brand new album, “Everyone is Everyone,” officially out Friday, October 4 via Austin-based nonprofit record label Spaceflight Records. Garrett T. Capps and NASA Country, composed of Garrett T. Capps (vocals/guitar), Justin Boyd (modular synthesizer), Torin Metz (guitar/lap steel/vocals) and Kory Cook (drums, bass/vocals), have been making "Kraut Country" together since 2018. "Everyone is Everyone" is Capps’ sixth album and his second with NASA Country and it’s arguably their strongest and most dynamic body of work yet. The band will play an album release show with Nicky Diamonds & Santiago Jimenez, Jr. on Saturday, November 9 at The White Horse (located at 500 Comal St, Austin, TX 78702). For more information and to purchase tickets when they go on sale please see here.
"Everyone is Everyone" is the surprise “prequel” to the "Shadows Trilogy", which was thought to have been concluded with 2022’s critically acclaimed "People are Beautiful." The new album combines sonic kraut riffs, space grooves, Texas folk songs, and somehow pays homage to JJ Cale, Jerry Jeff Walker and Hawkwind simultaneously. A true representation of the underdog San Antonio music tradition. Far out, down home, and everything in between - Garrett T. Capps & NASA Country go well beyond cosmic country with “Everyone is Everyone." The album was produced by Justin Boyd, engineered by Joe Treviño and Mauro Castro at Blue Cat Studios in San Antonio, Texas, mixed by Sean O’Keefe and mastered by Justin Perkins.
