Wednesday, Sept. 20 only at 8pm, doors at 7. When the tyrant-king Gilgamesh befriends the wild-man Enkidu, his heart softens. But the two are beset by gods and monsters on a journey of love to the ends of the earth. This solo telling of the Sumerian epic brings forth the friendship, adventure, and thoughtfulness of the world's oldest story. Storyteller John Heimbuch has been performing Charlie Bethel's Beowulf and Gilgamesh since 2019. He is excited to return to the Rosette this fall with another epic tale.
