Cyro Baptista at Bass Concert Hall

Texas Performing Arts welcomes back the mad scientist of Brazilian percussion Cyro Baptista, this time with his Banquet of the Spirits Quartet. This adventurous ensemble delivers hypnotic percussion and multi-layered string wizardry, mixing far-flung sounds of the Jewish diaspora with Brazilian and Middle Eastern melodies to create “a diversity of sounds and colors that can’t be found anywhere else.
