Phyllida Fogg is a “single woman of means” in Victorian England with a unique virtuosity for mathematical exactitude. In an attempt to break into the influential circles of society held exclusively by men, Miss Fogg risks her life and fortune on a wager that she can circumnavigate the world in only eighty days. What follows is an exciting and hilarious adventure, filled with danger, romance and comic surprises, as six actors playing dozens of characters circle the globe in a dramatic race against time!
Around the World in 80 Days is the seventh production in the “Penfold in the Park” series, an annual offering of free, outdoor summer theatre, made possible by a partnership with the City of Round Rock Parks & Recreation Department.
Around the World in 80 Days is for all ages. No reservations are required. Donations are appreciated.
