ZACH Theatre has announced its 2013-14 season-the second in the acclaimed new Topfer Theatre-with a lineup of six plays and musicals chosen to build on the dynamic and intimate experiences audiences are enjoying in this spectacular first season.
Dave Steakley, ZACH's producing artistic director for two decades, has created a stunning season that will captivate, provoke, and thrill the theatre's growing audience. The new season begins with Austin's first professional theatre staging of international musical theatre sensationLES MISERABLES. The 2013-14 season will also include two brand-new performance series, TOP Concerts @ ZACH and ZACH's Family Series; and season extras on ZACH's intimate Whisenhunt stage.
In ZACH's last two seasons, subscription revenue has grown by 89 percent and single ticket revenue has grown by 60 percent. During the same time period, contributions from individuals have grown by 64 percent.
