The Bob Turnbaugh Youth Summer Theatre Fund covers the tuition for children from low income families allowing them to attend the program. Bob was a founding member of the theatre and had a great impact on the Hill Country Community Theatre as it grew. The purpose of the Youth Summer Theatre Program is to teach the fundamentals of acting, as well as leadership skills and how to be a team member by being part of an ensemble.
This summer, the Hill Country Community Theatre's Youth Summer Theatre Program will produce the musical, "Annie Jr.", book by Thomas Meehan, music by Charles Strouse, and lyrics by Martin Charnin. This year's program has expanded.
