Salvage Vanguard Theater to Host House Warming Party This December

Join Salvage Vanguard Theater for A House Warming on Saturday, December 2nd, 2017 at 6 p.m. followed by a late night party. Join us as we unveil our new artist guest home and dedicate its future to the fruitful hospitality of artists and their work!

We invite you to raise a glass (and fork) in support of the upcoming Salvage Vanguard season! Enjoy an elegant home-cooked meal. Plus jazz, blues and country standards performed by SVT's three Artistic Directors' favorite Austin musicians. There will be a silent auction, a video chat with co-artistic director Jenny Larson in Canada, and a late-night party with performances, music and a house-shaped cake!

Dinner and music starts at 6 p.m.; the Late Night Party begins at 9 p.m. Tickets: VIP Dinner Tickets begin at $100. Late night party only $40 (available beginning November 6th). Salvage Vanguard is excited to be creating diverse and expansive work in the year ahead. In December of 2017 we continue development of the work in progress Casta by playwright Adrienne Dawes. In February of 2018 we explore the latest new work by Diana Lynn Small, House Play. In March of 2018, in loving honor of late great Laurie Carlos, we will be staging con flama by Sharon Bridgforth on the Dougherty Arts Center mainstage, directed by Florinda Bryant. In the spring, SVT will launch our brand spankin new new-works development residency and SVTV, a screenwriting workshop series.

Salvage Vanguard Theater (SVT) based in Austin TX, is a nonprofit organization that provides accessible, affordable, artistic exchange between a diverse, inclusive community of artists and audiences through high quality experiences that foster experimentation and generate conversation.
