Tired of seeing the same Broadway tours come through town every year? Broadway is back at the Long Center...and this season the key word is 'original.' Austin's Creative Home has announced its 2014-15 Broadway Season, and the lineup includes three spectacular productions that have never been staged before in Austin. For the first time ever, Austinites will have the chance to see the Gershwin tuner Nice Work If You Can Get It, holiday classic Elf the Musical, and the popular retelling of the boy who never grew up, Peter and the Starcatcher.

This October 1-2, take a trip back to the 1920's with Nice Work If You Can Get It¸ a feel-good musical about an unlikely love story between a wealthy playboy and a rough and tumble lady bootlegger. This show comes complete with extravagant dance numbers, glittering costumes and memorable Gershwin hits, including "Let's Call the Whole Thing Off," "Someone to Watch Over Me" and "Fascinating Rhythm." This sparkling tale combines laughter, romance and high-stepping Broadway magic for an evening bursting with girls, glamour and the glorious songs of Gershwin!

The hit movie Elf has been transformed into a smash Broadway show: Elf the Musical, coming to Dell Hall just in time for the holidays, November 28-30. Elf is the hilarious tale of Buddy, a young orphan child who mistakenly crawls into Santa's bag of gifts and is transported back to the North Pole. Unaware that he is actually human, Buddy's enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa's permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father, discover his true identity, and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas.

Start summer 2015 off with an adventure straight from Neverland. Peter and the Starcatcher (June 5-6, 2015) is a swashbuckling grownup prequel to Peter Pan that will have you hooked from the moment you let your imagination take flight! In this 5 time Tony Award winning play, a dozen brilliant actors play more than 100 unforgettable characters using their enormous talent, ingenious stagecraft and the limitless possibilities of imagination.

The Long Center is proud to be bringing these three works from Broadway to Austin audiences. Buy your tickets now so you don't miss a single performance!
