Kate Beckinsale, Val Kilmer & More Set for Wizard World Comic Con Austin This November

Wizard World, Inc. (OTCBB: WIZD) continues its 2017 schedule with its eighth trip to the Austin Convention Center at Wizard World Comic Con Austin, November 17-19. Jason Momoa (Aquaman, Justice League), Kate Beckinsale (Underworld, Van Helsing), Val Kilmer (Batman Forever, Top Gun), Gene Simmons (KISS frontman), the "Firefly" trio of Summer Glau ("Arrow"), Jewel Staite ("Stargate: Atlantis") and Sean Maher ("The Playboy Club"), Michael Rooker (Guardians of the Galaxy, "The Walking Dead") and Nichelle Nichols ("Star Trek") headline the roster of celebrity guests scheduled to attend the comic con and pop culture extravaganza.

Momoa, Simmons, Glau, Staite and Maher are scheduled to appear on Saturday and Sunday, November 18-19; the others above will be on hand all three days.

Other notables scheduled to appear include the Clerks and Mallrats duo of Jason Mewes and Brian O'Halloran, Felicia Day ("Supernatural," "Eureka"), Emma Caulfield ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "Beverly Hills, 90210"), Dean Cain ("Lois & Clark," "Supergirl"), Steve Blum ("Toonami," "Cowboy Bebop"), the "WKRP in Cincinnati" tandem of Loni Anderson and Howard Hesseman, Michael Cudlitz ("The Walking Dead," "Lost"), Austin Amelio ("The Walking Dead"), Josh McDermitt ("The Walking Dead," "Retired at 35"), Jason David Frank ("Mighty Morphin Power Rangers"), the "Batman: The Animated Series" duo of Kevin Conroy and Loren Lester, Thomas Ian Nicholas (Rookie of the Year, American Pie) and Lou Ferrigno ("The Incredible Hulk," "The King of Queens").

Wizard World Comic Con Austin will also feature non-stop live entertainment, gaming, exclusive Q&A sessions with top celebrities, movie screenings hosted by stars and directors and more, hosted by media personality Kato Kaelin. Details to follow soon.

Artist Alley in Austin will feature Jorge Molina ("Thor," "Avengers"), Katy Farina and Rian Sygh ("Rick & Morty," "Steven Universe"), Shawn Coss ("Cyanide & Happiness"), Steve Geiger ("Punisher," "Spider-Man"), Stuart Sayger ("ROM," "Micronauts"), Guy Gilchrist ("Nancy," "Muppet Babies"), Phil Ortiz ("The Simpsons"), Tom Cook ("Masters of the Universe," "Smurfs"), Mark Kistler ("Secret City," "Imagination Station"), Clinton Hobart (licensed Disney Fine Artist), Genese Davis (The Holder's Dominion), Victor Dandridge ("The Samaritan," "Origins Unknown"), Dr. Travis Langley (Batman and Psychology: A Dark and Stormy Night, Wonder Woman Psychology: Lassoing the Truth) and many others.

Wizard World Comic Con events bring together thousands of fans of all ages to celebrate the best in pop culture: movies, television, gaming, live entertainment, comics, sci-fi, graphic novels, toys, original art, collectibles, contests and more. The 14th and final event scheduled on the 2017 Wizard World calendar, Austin show hours are Friday, November 17, 4-9 p.m.; Saturday, November 18, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.; Sunday, November 19, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Kids 10 and under are admitted free with paid adult.

Wizard World Comic Con Austin is also the place for cosplay, with fans young and old showing off their best costumes throughout the event. Fans dressed as every imaginable character - and some never before dreamed - will roam the convention floor and participate in the famed Wizard World Costume Contest on Saturday evening.
