The Hill Country Community Theatre presents Christmas classic, A Christmas Carol, Dec. 4-14. Cottonwood Shores/Marble Falls/Horseshoe Bay, TX - Uncluttered by spectacle, the audience's imagination is free to soar, and this classic story comes to life in a way you have never imagined. This charming adaptation of A Christmas Carol remains many peoples favorite. Much of Dickens' original text is used. The production, performed by a small cast, begins with a boy reading the story for the first time. He is caught up in the story and is invited to enter the play. A fiddler underscores the story with traditional carols, and live sound effects create a delightful atmosphere igniting the holiday spirit for young and old alike.

"We have just started rehearsals but already I am in love with this cast!" said Bridget Farias Gates, the show's director. "The show is very stylized and unique, which is going to be amazing for the audiences but does provide challenges for staging and for the actors. They have jumped right in and are already doing such fabulous work. This is going to be a truly magical holiday show for families and people of all ages."

"A Christmas Carol" will be presented by the Hill Country Community Theatre, 4003 W FM 2147, Cottonwood Shores, TX 78657.
