Due to Popular Demand, Gary Clark Jr. Adds Third & Final Solo Show In Austin

As previously announced, Gary Clark Jr. has confirmed a series of intimate, solo shows to his current tour billed as "A Very Special Evening With Gary Clark Jr.". These shows have sold out immediately. Due to popular demand, Clark has added a third and final show in Austin, TX on Dec 6th, at the Paramount Theater. Tickets go on sale Sep 23rd. These very special shows will spotlight a very different side of Clark's oeuvre. The nuance of Clark's solo performances is no less powerful and soulful than the flash of the full electric experience but with a completely different set of sonic textures --subtle and gritty-- yet deeply personal and intimate and not to be missed. "Take Me Down," the brand new song featured in the upcoming film Deepwater Horizo (Lionsgate's Summit Entertainment) is available now from all participating digital retailers, such as iTunes. The complete soundtrack -- Deepwater Horizon Original Motion Picture Soundtrack - Music by Steve Jablonsky Featuring an Original Song by Gary Clark Jr., -- will be released by Warner Bros. Records on September 23rd.
Clark and company will perform the song on Jimmy Kimmel Live on October 6th. Tune into ABC stations at 11:35 pm EST/PST, and 10:35 pm CT.
Also, just confirmed, Gary Clark Jr will perform live on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallonon Dec 9th. Tune in to NBC stations at 11:35PM EST / PST and 10:35pm CT.
A new version of the track "Church," from his current album, THE STORY OF SONNY BOY SLIM, appears in the acclaimed film, Citizen Soldier, directed byDavid Salzberg & Christian Tureaud, produced by Strong Eagle Media and distributed by Gravitas Ventures.
