Cold Play is among the many bands set to perform at the Austin City Limits Festival, Septmember 16 - 18 at Zilker Park in Austin.

Performers at the event include:

Brandi Carlile - Raised in Ravensdale, Washington Brandi Carlile got her start at the age of eight when she taught herself to sing as well as play piano. In later years she instructed herself on the guitar.  Soon after, Carlile developed a band with her brothers Tim and Phil Hasenroth.

Asleep at the Wheel  - Can a wheel reinvent itself while it's still rolling? Sounds like an impossible tas but you never want to say "impossible" to Asleep at the Wheel, the famed western-swing, boogie, and roots-music outfit that's, amazingly, still on the upswing.

Sara Hickman - Sara Hickman was born  in Jacksonville, NC, but was raised in Houston, TX. She launched her professional career at age 14 at a Houston Oilers party with just her guitar and voice.

Nas  - Beginning with his classic debut, Illmatic (1994), Nas stood tall for years as one of New York City's leading rap voices, outspokenly expressing a righteous, self-empowered swagger that endeared him to critics and hip-hop purists.

Bright Eyes -  Bright Eyes is an American band that consists of singer-songwriter/guitarist Conor Oberst, multi-instrumentalist/producer Mike Mogis, Nate Walcott, and a rotating lineup of collaborators drawn primarily from Omaha's indie music scene.

Jack Ingram - When Jack Ingram won the 2008 Academy of Country Music award for "Best New Male Vocalist," thousands of people in the audience had to be smiling to themselves about that whole "new" thing.

Ray LaMontagne - Lauded singer/songwriter, Ray LaMontagne release his much-anticipated third album, Gossip In The Grain, on October 14, 2009 on RCA Records. Recorded with returning producer, Ethan Johns in Box, England, and touching upon a range of styles and musical settings.

Kanye West -a headliner of this year's Festival. Entertainment critics lauded Kanye's release My Beautiful Dark Twisted  Fantasy as one of the hottest albums of the year.

Coldplay - Coldplay is an alternative rock band formed in London, England in 1998. The band is comprised of Chris Martin (lead vocals, keyboard, and guitar), Guy Berryman (bass), Jonny Buckland (lead guitar) and Will Chmapion (drums and backing vocals)

Sara Bareilles - So I'm supposed to tell you about myself and we've tried to write something fancy, and I'm just not that fancy, so here I go. The non-fancy me. I've been writing songs for as long as I can remember.
