Agape Actors Co-Op presents A Glamorous Deco Gala Benefitting Agape Actors Co-Op, Jan. 31. The Roaring 20's America's Heyday! Travel back to the time of jazz clubs, flappers and tough gangsters at the Glamorous Deco Gala! An Evening of music, food, fun, dancing and live entertainment. Agape Actors Co-Op is presenting their first annual fundraiser gala, to help fund their 2015 Season, Professional Apprentice Program, and the new Agape Scholarship Fund for students pursuing a degree in theatre.

The evening features Dinner, Dancing, Silent Auctions, and performances by Agape Actors Company Members Nicholas Mani (The Trip To Bountiful, An Ideal Husband), Georgia Medler (Six Dance Lessons In Six Weeks, An Ideal Husband, Suffer The Long Night) and Dave Lovelace (Six Dance Lessons In Six Weeks, An Ideal Husband, and Suffer The Long Night). As well as performances by members of The Agape Professional Apprentice Program housed at East View High School. And Performances by Guest Artist Cici Barone, Cierra Chancellor (An Ideal Husband) and Marijean Schindler. The Night is also set to see exclusive performances by Agape Founding Artistic Director Olin Meadows alongside Associate Artistic Director Jeff Davis.

During the night The Agape Board of Directors will introduce members of the Professional Apprentice Program, Preview all of the Plays and Productions currently in rehearsal at Agape, and formally announce the Agape Actors Co-Op Scholarship Fund.

Headlining the event is "Not Your Mother's Cabaret" featuring Cathie Sheridan, Robert Joseph Cross, and Preston King. "Not Your Mother's Cabaret" is an Austin staple entertaining hordes of crowds with their wit, charm, and golden voices. Cathie Sheridan recently won the Central Texas Excellence in Theatre Award for her performance in Austin Theatre Project's Production of Carrie the Musical. Robert Joseph Cross is a Palace favorite and was recently seen performing as Melvin P. Thorpe in The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas. Preston King is the king of the Piano, he keeps the show rolling along.

To add a bit more fun to the night the Board of Directors of Agape Actors Co-Op along with their merry band of Volunteers have amassed a plethora of Silent Auction items, Including a Pool Table, Handmade Quilts, Beauty and Spa Packages, Brewery Tours, Travel Packages, Theatre Tickets, Fine Art, and Custom Jewelry.
