The Unplugged for Self-Care Exhibition Offers Thought-Provoking Installations Designed to Inspire, Uplift, and Empower with its Return at a 3rd location this January. The event’s fall exhibitions were featured in Atlanta Daily World Magazine, WAOK Radio, Atlanta News First TV, Atlanta & Company TV, and Praise 102.5 Radio and featured prominent exhibitors curated by Lisa Yolanda George to spark conversations for elevating mental health.
Featuring exhibitors such as Myles Truitt Kin (Dragged Across Concrete, Stranger Things, Queen Sugar, The New Edition Story); Grammy Nominated singer & songwriter, Will Downing ("I Go Crazy", "Wishing On A Star", "I Try"); Award-winning business owner, Lisane Basquiat, award-winning Singer Ayanna Gregory (daughter of the Late legendary activist, actor, and comedian, Dick Gregory), Lisa and others in this specially curated event by her, a storyteller and best-selling author, mental health wellness advocate, motivational speaker, and philanthropist. This fall’s Unplugged for Self-Care events were dedicated to George’s mother, who transitioned last summer.
