Grammy Award-winning vocalist Ms. Lisa Fischer, who appeared in the Oscar-winning documentary “20 Feet from Stardom,” joins Grammy-winning Roots band Ranky Tanky for an unforgettable performance with a funky fusion of Gullah and R&B, including works from their Billboard-ranked No. 1 album “Good Time.” Ranky Tanky is a Gullah phrase for “get funky” and the band by this name does just that by combining songs handed down through generations in the Sea Islands of the Southeastern U.S.
