Opossum and the Season Stone is an original production by Kennesaw State University's Department of Theatre and Performance Studies, tailored specifically for children ages 0-8 and their caregivers. Set in the Children's Forest at Swift-Cantrell Park, this immersive experience explores the rhythms of nature while incorporating pre- and post-show activities like live music, bubbles, and crafts. Playwright Nicole B. Adkins collaborates with Andrea Washington to create an interactive environment that encourages play and connection among audience members. The production also features costumes designed by KSU's School of Art and Design, enhancing the playful atmosphere of the performance.
