Enjoy a free concert and lunch featuring pianist, vocalist and songwriter Anita Aysola with band members Justin Chesarek (percussion) and Robby Handley (bass). Armed with lyrical wit, virtuosic piano runs and a sultry-sweet voice reminiscent of the golden age of jazz, Aysola is a deft musical mixologist who seamlessly infuses jazz and blues with classic rock and traditional Indian influences. Her album “Beyond Our Dreams” folds radiant flights of Indian-style improvisation, rhythm and piano into resonant storytelling on the American experience. Her recent original single “Heartbeat,” written in response to Georgia’s abortion ban, debuted exclusively in Rolling Stone India for its powerful call to action. This performance will be live in the Rialto Center lobby and is free and open to the public, with free lunch provided while supplies last.
